Fifty-three rising eighth and ninth graders from underserved communities were chosen to participate in the inaugural TopSpin Hoops Academy at The Hun School.
The overnight camp provided intense basketball training and competition, but was just as much about scholarship, conflict resolution and community service.
Our featured speakers included Mark Tatum (NBA), Brandon Williams (76ers) and Swin Cash (WNBA); Vin Baker (Knicks) as an honorary coach.
